Goals and Objectives: Students will recreate the sound of rain with this rain stick. They will be creative to decorate the stick and produce a sensory prop that will keep them entertained on a rainy day.

  • Large cardboard tube (paper towel roll)
  • Green electrical tape
  • Strips of tissue paper (preferably in "tree colors")
  • Mod Podge
  • Two large tree die-cuts out of green paper or foam (template attached)
