Provide your students with a beautifully laid-out Megillas Esther that they can use in shul on Purim. Each perek is labeled and divided into parshiyos according to the mesorah to make the Megillah easier to follow. Insert appropriate note-taking pages where necessary in the notebook to customize it for your class’s needs. Students can staple the pages together to create a book or tape them together to create a scroll.
How to Use: As the class reviews the text together, students can analyze the text of the Megillah and raise questions about word choice and interpretation. The teacher can then introduce the commentaries that answer those questions. When students generate their own questions, they become more invested in the learning process, which leads to greater retention of the material.
