In Parashas Behar we learn about the mitzvah of shemitah. While the land rests in the seventh year, we eat food that was saved from the sixth year. One way to keep food from spoiling is to pickle it. Here is a simple recipe that produces delicious pickles for the children to enjoy.

  • Fresh dill or frozen dill cubes.
