Enhance your Shabbos table with this beautiful Mosaic Challah Board. Use this as a springboard to explain the custom of surrounding the challah with a board from below and a cover from above as a reminder of the mahn which Hashem gave us and protected by layers of dew beneath and above it. It is also an opportune time to explain that we use two challos at the Shabbos seudah to commemorate the double portion of mahn that fell on erev Shabbos.

  • Wooden Board (9”x12½”x ½”)
  • Square Stone Tiles (½”x½”)
  • (47 dark tiles for the letters, approximately 300 assorted shades from light to dark for the background)
  • Strung Faux Pearls (2 – 12.5” long, 2 - 4¾” long, ½” diameter, or any strung beads for embellishment)
  • E6000 Glue
