Design an elegant mosaic flower vase out of a tin can and foam shapes. This project is done in steps and will take about three days to complete. This is a project that the students will take pride in creating and will be a beautiful accompaniment to a Shabbos or Yom Tov table.

  • 3mm Fun Foam (this thickness is best but 2mm will also work) in several colors
  • Shavuos flower template (included - on last sheet)
  • Unsanded grout (available at any hardware stores i.e. Lowes
  • Home Depot)
  • Empty tin can
  • X-Acto knife
  • Foam brush
  • Dowel
  • Disposable gloves
  • Optional: polyurethane finish or Mod Podge Glossy
  • 2 sponges one wet
  • one dry
