Derech Eretz Kadmah LaTorah
Item Number: PSJTH15-JF153
Date Submitted: 05/13/2015
This poster, part of the Amaros Tehoros poster series, reminds students that respectful, considerate behavior is a prerequisite to the acquisition of Torah with an inspiring quote from Tanna B'bei Eliyahu. Use the poster as the focus for a discussion of what Derech Eretz looks like, sounds like and feels like, and why it is so important. Encouraging students to model positive examples. You may also choose to have the class respond to a situation requiring Derech Eretz by chorally stating the quote when cued, thereby preventing embarrassment and reestablishing a positive atmosphere in the classroom.
