Enhance students’ appreciation of Pesach and the Jewish calendar with this artistic poster featuring the pasuk that sets much of the foundation for the Jewish calendar—that Pesach must occur in spring. Use the poster as a springboard to explain and discuss how Pesach is always in the spring, the use of a second Adar to keep the Jewish lunar calendar aligned with the solar calendar, Hashem’s kindness in taking the Jewish people out of Mitzrayim in fair spring weather, and how the physical renewal of spring aligns with and enhances the spiritual renewal of Pesach.
