1: Educational Aids
Walder Education creates and houses a large selection of innovative, eye-catching, interactive Educational Aids. These educationally sound teaching aids create a classroom environment that motivates students to learn and grow. In-house educational consultants, illustrators and graphic artists guide teachers through the creative process, helping them produce teaching aids for every subject and grade level specific to their classroom. No single school can afford to provide their teachers with the vast array of supplies and equipment that teachers require, to produce the highly professional quality educational aids needed in today’s classroom. Walder Education can accommodate this need for all teachers of all Jewish schools. All the supplies and costly machinery needed to produce these teaching tools are provided within Walder Education, all under one roof. 2: Curriculum Development
Walder Education has professional staff available, expert in Curriculum to help in curriculum development. We dedicate our efforts to creating the highest quality curricula for all subjects and grade levels, keeping the Multiple Intelligences and differentiated Instruction in mind. Our staff uses their expertise to guide principals, rebbes, and teachers through the curriculum mapping process to ensure that all skills and content are covered in the most engaging way. This encourages mastery of the material and helps educators prepare students for independent learning and problem solving.
3: Professional Development
Professional Development for educators is a crucial service upon which Walder Education places a high priority. Keeping schools and teachers current with the newest best practices and innovative techniques helps raise educational standards to the highest levels. We provide one-on-one mentoring for novice, as well as for veteran teachers. Walder Education provides a wealth of stimulating speakers, all experts in their field, to deliver meaningful and motivating workshops on every chinuch topic imaginable. We are equipped with a state-of-the-art Computer Lab, and schedule regular technology training workshops (on computer software, SMARTBoard, etc.) for all levels of mastery. Most of our workshops and classes are offered free of charge.
4: Professional Collaboration
Walder Education provides the perfect setting and opportunity for principals, teachers, PTAs and board members to collaborate professionally with their peers from other schools and institutions.
Educational institutions from all affiliations find Walder Education to be a neutral and welcoming environment, generating creativity and camaraderie, to meet together to discuss and share ideas and best practices, and problem resolutions. Educators are called upon to highlight their successes, bringing a sense of pride to themselves, their schools, and their community. Principals, Rebbes and teachers use Walder Education as a forum to share their accomplishments and discuss current educational issues.
