Facial expressions are a form of non-verbal communication. The ability to read facial cues fosters appropriate social interactions. This social skill lesson engages students with fun activities while it teaches them how to read facial expressions. This is the eighth lesson of a curriculum that covers 15 social skills. Each social skill lesson includes an anticipatory set puppet show, introduction to skill, interactive activities and games, discussion, story, song, assessment, and educational aids.
