Make your own 10 Makkos clothespin project. Students will arrive at their Seder with a unique way of reciting the 10 Plagues; this will energize students at the Seder table. This also allows students to know why we recite each plague at the Seder and why we spill a drop of wine.

The student will understand that during the Seder we recite the name of each plague and we spill a drop of wine. We will teach the students that even though the Egyptians were our enemies, we are sad when people suffer or die. (Taking a drop of wine off we show that we are taking a little of our joy a way). |

The student will develop fine motor skills such as dexterity of hand, scissor cutting, and eye tracking. Students will also acquire conservation, patterning and sequencing skills. |
