Bilaam proved that his ability to speak is dictated by Hashem. He couldn’t curse Bnei Yisrael, and was forced to utter a blessing. How is the sound of a voice produced? How does it reach our ears to be heard? In this science experiment, the students will discover that sound is produced by vibrations that originate in the voice box/ larynx located in the throat. They will learn that the sound travels in waves spreading out through the air or traveling along a sound conductor. In this activity a string is used as a sound conductor.
