Using the Reggio Emilia approach, create this beautiful tzedakah box while teaching your students the deeper meaning of the mitzvah of tzedakah. By taking your students on a nature walk to collect twigs, leaves, feathers, and other natural materials, you have the opportunity to explain how Hashem provides for our needs with the world He created. Just as Hashem gives us trees and the natural world to nourish us, we learn to give to others through the mitzvah of tzedakah.
