Goals and Objectives: The students will create a stunning Menorah while using Lucite, glass cups and to enrich their sensory-motor skills.
Skills Developed: : tactile discrimination skills, sensory-motor skills, grasping skills, Fine motor skills, ability to follow directions, eye-hand coordination, focus on task
 
  • 4 x12 piece of Plexiglas (can be purchased at the Walder Education Pavilion for Torah Umesorah or Lowe's)
  • Four 1" flat marbles or tiles for the legs (can be found at the Dollar store)
  • 30 (or more) clear glass flat marbles (can be found at the Dollar store)
  • Colored permanent markers
  • One small glass tile (about )
  • 9 glass tubes (these can be purchased at the Walder Education Pavilion for Torah Umesorah or on the web)
  • Glue (we used Weldbond)
  • Windex Spray
