Children will create a frog craft for Pesach in conjunction with learning about the ten makkos. They will explore using out of the box materials such as a toilet paper roll and other household materials. This project will illustrate the medrash that all the little frogs came out of one giant frog.

Skills Developed: Students will gain an appreciation for using unconventional house materials to create their project. The student will use critical thinking skills in the construction of their frog craft.

 

 
  • Cardboard toilet paper roll
  • Dark green, light green, black and red markers
  • Two adhesive googly eyes (or draw eyes if googly eyes are not accessible)
  • White piece of paper
  • Invisible tape
  • Scissors
  • 7 inch white string (or floss, kippah string, yarn, ribbon)
